Our commitment

Gourmend Foods wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or who have reduced motion settings turned on. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

• Our site is built with semantic HTML: real buttons, links, headings and form labels, so assistive technology can read and operate it.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator, and menus and dialogs can be closed with the Escape key.
• Text meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and green text uses an accessible shade.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, or are marked decorative when they add nothing a screen reader needs.
• Moving content respects your device's reduced-motion setting and has a pause control.
• We test with automated tools (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard, and we fix what we find.
